McKenzie is at the intermediate level working on perfecting her double axel and triples. When McKenzie was born she was a premature baby and was on a breathing machine. It was thought that she would have many disabilities but she proved them wrong and  is perfectly healthy and able to skate. She has been skating for a little over 6 yrs. She is very dedicated to the sport and has a goal to get to the 2008 Junior National Championships.
